This weekend was my husband’s 35th birthday. As a avid sports fan, I threw him a tailgating themed party, complete with lawn games and stadium food. Guests were asked to don their favorite sports ragalia. The invites were fake sports tickets with my husband’s face on Tom Brady’s body.
This weekend, I finished the wedding invite package for my friends Sara & EJ’s June wedding. They wanted poppy colors. Our inspiration came from yellow lemons, green limes, and fuchsia raspberries. The main invite has a metallic fuchsia envelope adhered to it and it holds the itinerary card and RSVP postcard. I found these fun florish adhesives to seal the inner envelopes.
Custom illustration created with ink & gouache by Scout’s Honor Co. Each wedding suite will feature a custom illustration. You go girl!
Fun handkerchief invites by Kelli Anderson. Not sure which I love more, the unique material [handkerchief] for the invite, or the scalloped and imprinted envelopes.
I hope red and aqua never go out of style. I can never stop seeing enough of them. Smock Letterpress and The Wedding Library worked together on this summer wedding invite package.
